About Claire Barker

Claire Barker (Author) Claire Barker is an author even though she has terrible handwriting. When she's not busy doing this she spends her days wrestling sheep battling through nettle patches and catching rogue chickens. She used to live on narrowboats but now lives with her delightful family and an assortment of animals on a small unruly farm in deepest darkest Devon.Ross Collins (Illustrator) Ross Collins is the illustrator of over a hundred books and the author of a dozen more. Some of his books have won shiny prizes which he keeps in a box in Swaziland. The National Theatre's adaptation of his book The Elephantom was rather good with puppets and music and stuff. Ross lives in Glasgow with a strange woman a hairy child and a stupid dog.
