About Dr Sarah Birrell IvoryProfessor Emma Macdonald

Sarah Birrell Ivory is a Senior Lecturer in Climate Change and Business Strategy at the University of Edinburgh Business School. She has four degrees in business and management and spent almost a decade as a manager prior to moving into academia. She was a recipient of a prestigious 2019 Aspen Institute Ideas Worth Teaching educational award for the establishment of the first year UG compulsory course 'Global Challenges for Business'. Emma Macdonald is Charles Huang Chair in International Business and Director of the Stephen Young Institute at the University of Strathclyde as well as Visiting Professor at Cranfield School of Management. Her research is on organisations and how they can collaborate with each other and their customers to improve sustainability. With a background in marketing she has delivered executive and MBA programmes at University of Warwick Cranfield University and Australian Graduate School of Management.
