About Jeff PricherJoseph D. Lowe

Joseph (Joe) D. Lowe is a Type 2 Incident Commander for the Rocky Mountain Area Team C. His team is one of 56 Type 2 teams available for national deployment on large complex incidents. He is the current Chairman of the Rocky Mountain Coordinating Group (RMCG). The RMCG provides geographic leadership in implanation and communication of policy standards guidelines and qualifications for wildland fire programs and management. He also derves as teh Division Director/Chief of the South Dakota WIldland Fire Suppression Division. He previously served'with the Orange County and San Bernadino County California'Fire Departments before assuming his current position in South Dakota. He also participated in the revision of the National Wildland Coordinating Group' (NWCG) curriculum and the revision of the Incident Command courses for the NWCG.
