Optical Parametric Chirp Pulse Amplification: Recent Developments

English

OPCPA is an alternative technique to conventional laser amplification with the possibility to generate ultrashort pulses, the highest energies, and a wide variety of wavelengths. The technology is now finding widespread acceptance due to its tremendous possibilities. All major laser groups are working on different implementations, and the laser field is experiencing a major shift towards OPCPA. This book covers the major aspects of history, theory, numerical simulations and practical implementations and applications, as well as the latest achievements in the field of OPCPA. See more
