About Clyde L. Cronkhite

Clyde Cronkhie is a professor and former Chair of the Department of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration at Western Illinois University (WIU). He was also a faculty member and Director of the Center for Administration of Justice at the University of Southern California (USC). He has served in all law enforcement ranks (officer through deputy chief with the Los Angeles Police Department and Chief of Police of the Santa Ana Police Department in California). Dr. Cronkhite was also Corporate Chief of Security for Columbia Finance in Beverly Hills. He received his doctorate and master degrees in public administration from USC.
