Gulliver''s Travels

English

By (author): Jonathan Swift

Part of the Chiltern Classics range

Lemuel Gullivers voyages take him to lands peopled by very different inhabitants. The tiny Lilliputians squabble with neighbours over how to crack an egg. The Laputans are scientifically advanced but wholly impractical. The equine Houyhnhnms are refined, unlike the degenerate humanoid Yahoos. Swifts caustic satire of 18th-century society has lost none of its power, exposing the follies, vices and irrationality of the human race.

Chiltern are publishers of exquisitely crafted editions of the worlds finest classic literature. These beautiful books are a perfect mix of tradition and the very latest in printing techniques. With wonderful original, detailed and embossed covers, sparkling gilt edges, cream art paper, ribbon markers and stitched binding they are simply the most beautiful classics ever published.
