Anna McNay comes from an academic background as a doctoral candidate tutor and lecturer in German and Linguistics at the University of Oxford and an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow at the Humboldt University in Berlin. She is also a qualified and experienced CELTA tutor. Susie Orbach is a psychotherapist writer and co-founder of The Women's Therapy Centre in London and The Women's Therapy Centre in New York. Her books include Hunger Strike What's Really Going on Here? Towards Emotional Literacy Susie Orbach On Eating and The Impossibility of Sex. She lectures widely in the UK Europe and North America has written for several magazines and newspapers and has provided consultation advice for organisations from the NHS to the World Bank. She continues to help many individuals and couples from her practice in London. She is also a visiting Professor at the London School of Economics. Frances Aviva Blane is a painter working in London. She studied post grad painting at The Slade. She is a Jerwood Award winner and won a scholarship to work at Djerassi Artist colony. Blane has exhibited in the John Moores Painting Prize and Trinity Buoy Wharf drawing prize. She showed with Bacon and Bourgeois in Belgium and in 2016/2017 had a solo show at the German Embassy in London. She has had solo shows both in London and Europe. She is represented by Zuleika Gallery (London and Woodstock) De Queeste Art in Belgium and EcArtspace. She is the subject of various films made by Penny Woolcock including Two Metres Apart with Susie Orbach and ON PAINTING. Her recent publications include on painting with Sacha Craddock.
