About Sahar Delijani

Sahar Delijani was born in Tehran Iran in 1983 and grew up in California where she graduated from the University of California Berkley. CHILDREN OF THE JACARANDA TREE is her first novel and was inspired by her family's experience as political activists and prisoners in Iran. It has been published in twenty-seven languages.
