About Kengo Hanazawa

Kengo Hanazawa is easily one of Japan's most influential comic artists in the last 15 years. His previous works Boys on the Run was one of the most popular movies in recent Japanese history. Hanazawa's works focus on the everyday struggles of young adults in Japan; often tackling issues such as underemployment mental health and an eroding social safety net. His series sci-fi drama Ressentiment was awarded the 2005 Sense of Gender Award.
