DDT: Properties, Uses & Toxicity

Dichloro-diphenyl-trichloroethane (DDT) is the world famous synthetic organochlorine broad-spectrum insecticide used in the control of mosquito vectors of malaria and insect pests of agriculture in developing countries, due to its low cost and high efficiency.
