About Charles Waghmare

Charles David Waghmare is a distinguished DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) scholar at the prestigious SP Jain School of Global Management where he also earned his MBA. With over 17 years of experience in the IT engineering and energy sectors he has built a robust career in information management. Since 2019 Charles has been an Information Management Consultant in the Microsoft 365 space for a global energy leader. Previously he spent eight years at Capgemini in various roles including Viva Engage Community Manager and Manager of the Drupal-based Enterprise Knowledge Management system. At Capgemini he also developed a SharePoint Online knowledge management platform for the Digital Customer Experience (DCX) organization and adopted Microsoft Azure Chatbots to enhance customer communication. Charles's career includes a five-year tenure at ATOS (formerly SIEMENS Information Systems Limited) where he managed SAP-based communities using Technoweb 2.0 and on-premises SharePoint. He also served as the global rollout manager for a structured document-management system. An accomplished author Charles has written several books on Microsoft 365 technologies including Viva Engage SharePoint Online Azure Chatbots and ChatGPT. In his spare time he enjoys reading motivational books with The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari being his favorite.
