Dr Elvidina Adamson-Macedo is an Emeritus Professor of Maternal-Infant Mental Health (University of Wolverhampton UK) and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She was President of the Forum on Maternity and the Newborn at the Royal Society of Medicine (London UK) and is internationally renowned for her work on Sensory Nurturing Interventions. Having founded the scientific discipline of 'Neonatal Health Psychology' she has pioneered psychological approaches to neonatal care and continues to inspire the next generation of researchers. Dr Christopher Barnes is a Chartered Psychologist Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and Senior Lecturer at the University of Derby UK. He has worked extensively in the field of parenting and child development published widely about perinatal mental health including his most recent book 'Family Relationships in the Early Years'. He is globally recognised for his work on parent and child health-related measures used in primary care settings and international health evaluation research.
