Zoonoses and Public Health: One Health

English

This book follows the path of One Health, bringing great contributions in the area of zoonotic diseases, the parasites that are responsible for zoonoses transmitted from animals to humans. We have compiled the main parasites that can affect humans and animals, focusing on epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical signs, prevention, control, diagnoses and treatment. Zoonoses and Public Health: One Health is a selection of nine chapters with contributions from renowned researchers in the subject area. The publication of this book would not have been possible without the sincere efforts of the authors of each chapter and the team at Cambridge Scholars Publishing, who have given their continued support. Perhaps more important than the book and its many contributions were the remarkable people who formed a unique collaborative team to make it happen. See more
