About Nick Blishen

Nick Blishen had worked in the electronics industry for over twenty years as a prototype wireman test engineer and design draughtsman before making a major career change and going back to college to study guitar making. He then set up his own workshop making guitars and repairing instruments for local musicians and music shops. During this time he was asked to teach a guitar-making evening class at London Metropolitan University which was followed by teaching a day a week until eventually he found himself course leader and senior lecturer for the BSc Musical Instruments degree course.
