Its the opening day of Brooklyns annual Caribbean American Heritage Festival, and Spice Isle Bakery is thrilled to be one of the events food vendors. After all, the Murrays have been attending the festival for years. Co-owner Lyndsay Murray hopes their West Indian pastries and finger foods draw people back to the bakery in Little Caribbean. Shes looking forward to having fun, connecting with customers, and celebrating with her family. But when an up-and-coming reggae bands lead singer dies, Lyndsays cousin asks for her help investigating the suspicious death. When the police then arrest the wrong person, Lyndsay cant help but wonder if shell be able to catch a killer before the last note. See more
