Oman's expanding heritage industry, exemplified by the boom in museums, exhibitions, street montages, and cultural festivals, shapes a distinctly national geography and territorialized narrative. \u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eBut \u003ci\u003eCultivating the Past, Living the Modern\u003c\/i\u003e demonstrates there are consequences to this celebration of heritage.
