Ariel Andrés Almada is an Argentine award-winning writer of children’s stories. Almada has received numerous international awards for Best Children's Fiction Book. He currently resides in León (Spain).
A Sonja Wimmer le encanta pintar y contar historias. Después de estudiar y trabajar como diseñadora en su ciudad natal Munich y en Bruselas, decidió mudarse con su maleta a Barcelona, para estudiar ilustración en la "Llotja - Escola Superior de Disseny i Art". Desde entonces vive entre pinceles y cuentos, trabajando como ilustradora freelance para editoriales y otros clientes en todo el mundo. En los últimos años, varios de sus libros han sido premiados en Estados Unidos. En 2011 recibió el premio Moonbeam Children's Book Awards al mejor ilustrador por su libro La coleccionista de palabras.
