About Hai DengZhe Geng

Hai Deng earned a PhD in electrical engineering at the University of Texas at Austin Austin Texas USA in 2000. He has been with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Florida International University (FIU) Miami Florida USA since 2009. Prior to his tenure at FIU he was also a faculty member in Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of New Orleans New Orleans Louisiana USA and the University of North Texas Denton Texas USA. His research interests include radar systems waveform design signal processing artificial intelligence and radar networks.Zhe Geng earned dual BS degrees (magna cum laude) in electrical engineering at FIU Miami Florida USA and Hebei University of Technology Tianjin China in 2012. She also earned a PhD in electrical engineering at FIU in 2018. From 2018 to 2019 she was a research scientist at Wright State University Dayton Ohio USA. In December 2019 Dr. Geng joined the College of Electronic and Information Engineering Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) where she is currently an associate professor. She was the recipient of FIUs most prestigious awards for entering doctoral students the FIU Presidential Fellowship. Her research interests include distributed MIMO radar and joint radar-communications systems.
