The 38 Bus

A love song to a bus route. The 38 was introduced on 16th June 1912 as a Monday to Saturday route. There is no other bus that cuts across so much diversity in London, glides through so many different neighbourhoods, carries so may heterogenous people. From the depths of the heart of East London, through ever more gentrified Hackney and the boulevards of Islington, through the Old City of London to Soho, Covent Garden and onto Victoria.
