About Captain Horatio BarberHoratio Barber

Horatio Barber was one of Britain's first pilots, and was instrumental in setting up Shoreham Airport, Britain's first municipal airport. Reputed to have a voice so loud he shouted instructions at aviators from the ground, he died in the mid-1950s.
