A beautiful and heart-warming tale about the importance of friendship.

Rosy and Rory are the unlikeliest of friends. They are as different as the sun and the rain. Rosy is a dainty, delicate little bird and Rory is a big, burly bear. They both love to explore together and between them they always find the most wonderful things. One day, Rosy doesn't feel like leaving her nest and Rory can't understand why. They stop exploring together but Rory never stops looking for wonderful things to share with his friend ... until he finds the perfect thing. A sensitive and timely book about the importance of friendship.

Jonathan Emmett trained as an architect but decided that he would much rather be a writer! He has since written over 60 books including the very successful series starring Mole and friends, Bringing Down the Moon, Diamond in the Snow, No Place Like Home, A Secret Worth Sharing and The Best Gift of All (all illustrated by Vanessa Cabban). He lives in Nottingham with his family.

Polly Noakes studied illustration at Cambridge School of Art and recently returned to complete an MA in Children's Book Illustration. Her work is full of warmth and gentle humour. Polly lives and works in the New Forest where she walks daily and is constantly inspired by the natural world.
