Big Cat for Little Wandle Fluency has been developed in collaboration with Wandle Learning Trust and Little Sutton Primary School. It consists of a range of chapter books with increasing word counts across 10 fluency levels aimed at children in Year 2 and 3. Each book builds reading confidence, stamina and speed and nurtures a love for reading.

Fluency 7 books have a word count of 4800 words with an expected reading rate of 100 words per minute.

Hughie has holes everywhere, from his bedroom wall to his favourite T-shirt. But when he finds a swirling silvery hole in the woods behind his house, things get a whole lot weirder …

Ali Sparkes has written more than 50 books for children. She loves frogs. And foxes. And fudge. Ali lives in Southampton, England, with her family and a big woolly labradoodle called Willow. Max Rambaldi draws mostly with my graphic tablet, but loves the freshness of watercolors and the mellowness of the acrylics, so always tries to incorporate them by using textured brushes. What she loves more than anything is scientific children books.
