Elizabeth White (Author) Dr Elizabeth 'Barry' White recently retiredfrom the United States Holocaust MemorialMuseum where she served as historian and asResearch Director for the museum's Center forthe Prevention of Genocide. Prior to workingfor the USHMM Barry spent a career at the USDepartment of Justice working on investigationsand prosecutions of Nazi criminals and otherhuman-rights violators. She served as deputydirector and chief historian of the Office ofSpecial Investigations and as deputy chief andchief historian of the Human Rights and SpecialProsecutions Section. She lives in Falls ChurchVirginia.Joanna Sliwa (Author) Dr Joanna Sliwa is an historian at the Conferenceon Jewish Material Claims Against Germany(Claims Conference) in New York where shealso administers academic programmes. Shepreviously worked at the American Jewish JointDistribution Committee and at the Museumof Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial tothe Holocaust. She has taught Holocaustand Jewish history at Kean University and atRutgers University and has served as a historicalconsultant and researcher including for the PBSfilm In the Name of Their Mothers: The Story ofIrena Sendler. Her first book Jewish Childhoodin Kraków: A Microhistory of the Holocaustwon the 2020 Ernst Fraenkel Prize awardedby the Wiener Holocaust Library. She lives inLinden New Jersey.
