Get to know the most famous animal inhabitants of the forest. Little Red Riding Hood will guide you through this mix of encyclopedia and fairy tale!

Once upon a time, there was a very curious little girl with a red cap whom everybody called Little Red Riding Hood. You may have heard about her going to the grandmother’s and meeting the wolf on her way there.

But only few people know that on her adventurous journey she met also other forest animals like singing birds, a squirrel, deer, ants, and many others. What are these animals and how do they live? You can find out on the pages of this richly illustrated book with seven gatefolds on each spread.

Stepanka Sekaninova used to work as a TV reporter and in the production of children’s programs. Now she is a writer and an editor-in-chief, living in the Czech Republic.

Children’s book author Jana Sedlackova enjoys, among other things, singing in a choir and decorating gingerbread during Christmas. Her love for fairytales fuels her conviction that those who don’t read them are still searching for the perfect one. She graduated from the School of Textile Design and Management in Brno, Czech Republic.

Linh Dao spent much of her life in Hanoi, Vietnam, where she was born, before moving to the Czech Republic. She studied illustration in Brno and animation in Zlín, where her graduation film earned several international awards. In 2016, she won a prize in the Young Creative category at the ADC Creative Awards. After a stint in corporate life, she returned to freelancing as an illustrator and animator. She lives in Brno, where she survives mainly on potato chips and green tea.
