Meet the most eccentric inventor ever in THE INCREDIBLE ADVENTURES OF PROFESSOR BRANESTAWM by Norman Hunter.
The wonderfully eccentric Professor Branestawm is always inventing weird and wonderful things, such as a devise to capture burglars, and a spring-cleaning machine! But housekeeper Mrs Flittersnoop is at her wit's end as the Professor's inventions always make life far more complicated than it was before!

With the wonderfully inventive original illustrations throughout by W. Heath Robinson, Professor Branestawm is as funny as he was when he first appeared in A Puffin Story Book in 1947.

Norman Hunter (1899-1995) was born near London. After serving in the army in the First World War, he became a copy-writer for various advertising agencies. He was also a conjuror and held the prestigious title of Associate of the Inner Magic Circle. Norman Hunter is most famous for his Professor Branestawm books which he began in 1933.
