Indomitables

English

By (author): Huw Richards Martin Whitcombe

The 1946 Indomitables won the three Test series in Australia with two victories and a draw - an unbeaten record that has never been repeated - and remain Britain's most successful rugby league tourists. Lavishly illustrated with over 300 photographs, The Indomitables is the most comprehensive and authoritative account of the 1946 tour that made sporting legends of the 15 Englishmen and 11 Welshmen (including the captain, Gus Risman) who created sporting history and won the respect of the Australian nation. These were The Indomitables - and this is their sensational story. See more
