A beautiful, festive picture book about friendship that brings home the true meaning of Christmas.

On a cold winter night a little fox burrows deep in the snow looking for something to eat and a place to rest. She finds herself falling down into a warm, cosy house and meeting a kind old man with a great round belly and a fox-white beard.
As the months pass she helps him collect letters and make toys until Christmas Eve, when the reindeer arrive and she is taken on a snowy, moonlit journey across the world and discovers who her new friend really is.

Polly Faber is the author of the Mango & Bambang series and Pony on the Twelfth Floor. She is also a children’s book blogger and volunteer reading helper through the charity Beanstalk. With her family, she looks after her very own tiny free library outside their house .
Richard Jones grew up in the Midlands but moved to Devon to study illustration at the University of Plymouth. His previous books for Walker include The Squirrels’ Busy Year, Bird Builds a Nest in the Science Storybook series, The Child of Dreams and The Seed of Doubt.
