Patricia Hegarty is currently the Editorial Director of Caterpillar Books and has written about all kinds of things from trees and bees to ABCs (and she loves to rhyme). Ryan studied illustration at the University of Lincoln, England and has worked as an illustrator for the last couple of years since graduating. He lives on the outskirts of the very hilly city of Sheffield, England, with his family and pets and spends most of his time making pictures for books and magazines.
