It’s Saturday morning, and Milo’s been cooking his famously delicious pancakes. They’re ready to serve but Henry doesn’t feel like getting up. Now it’s up to Milo and the twins to find a solution!

Dada Henry doesn’t feel like pancakes this morning, and Milo and the twins aren’t sure why. They persist making more and more elaborate concoctions: ‘Maple Come Back for More’, ‘Little Puddings Supreme’, and ‘Brussels Sprouts Forget Me Never’, but nothing will lure Henry out of bed.

Come on a chaotic culinary adventure as the fox family finds the perfect answer to a familiar problem. A funny, and heartwarming tale from award-winning creators Bernadette Green and Daniel Gray-Barnett in their first collaboration.

Bernadette Green grew up loving animals and being outside. She was no happier than when she was high up in a tree or riding her horse, Blue. As a teenager she dreamed of becoming a writer, but life took her on different adventures. She was a mushroom picker for many years before studying to be a youth worker and then a writer. Bernadette now juggles writing and working as a disability support worker. She is the author of Who’s Your Real Mum?, which was shortlisted for the 2021 CBCA Book of the Year: early childhood. Bernadette lives in Naarm/Melbourne with her partner, their two kids, and two dogs. Daniel Gray-Barnett is an illustrator and author from the Huon Valley in Lutruwita/Tasmania. He likes to think of himself as someone who was put on this planet to tell a few stories before he turns into a grumpy old man. He’s worked with clients including Disney, Kiehl’s, Sydney Opera House, and The New York Times. His first picture book, Grandma Z, won a Children’s Book Council of Australia award for Best New Illustrator. When he’s not in the studio, he can be found daydreaming in the garden with his son and husband, German pointers, and chickens.
