About Charlotte RabySue Downing

I live and work in a little eco house in Ouseburn, Newcastle upon Tyne with my husband and a one-eyed cat called Martha. I love to draw, design and make things. Since leaving ECA in the late 1990’s, I’ve worked in-house, on a freelance basis, as an illustrator, character developer, a jewellery designer, greetings cards and wrapping paper – never a dull moment! I’m drawn to anything that is quirky, humorous and minimal in design, and hope that this is reflected in my illustration.
