Kathy Willis (Author)
Kathy Willis has spent the past 25 years researching and teaching in the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford. She now holds two jobs: as the Director of Science at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and as Professor of Biodiversity at the University of Oxford. She lives in Oxford with her three children, two rabbits, one gecko, one dog and a long-suffering husband.

Katie Scott (Illustrator)
Katie Scott graduated from University of Brighton in 2011. Her work draws influences from traditional medical and botanical illustration, both in aesthetic and subject matter, and plays with the ideas of scientific uncertainty and speculation, fabricating the inner and outer workings of the world. Her illustrations depict a familiar yet fantasy vision of plants, humans and minerals.
