THE SHIPWRECK OF ST PAUL

The Shipwreck of St Paul in AD60 is one important event that changed the history of the Maltese islands forever. When its feast day comes around, it creates emotions which cannot be expressed in other local feasts.

Finally, these emotions, as well as the many fine art treasures of the Collegiate Church, in Valletta, which is dedicated to this historic event, are now recorded and depicted in two very unique books.

The Collegiate Church of the Shipwreck of St Paul and The Feast of the Shipwreck of St Paul are a set of two hard-back volumes (sized 23 cm by 27 cm) containing 176 pages each, with more than 500 colour photographs by Daniel Cilia, and texts by Robert Cassar and Ray Bondin (for the collegiate church and the feast, respectively).

These unique books are neatly packed together in a beautifully handmade slipcase, creating a wonderful opportunity to treasure this tremendous event which changed the DNA of a whole island nation.
