Hattie Newman has earned an international reputation for her inimitable creations in the field of set design and papercraft. Found in advertisements, animations, physical spaces and books, her colourful work is loved by children, publishers and photographers alike.
Based in London, Hattie has also worked in New York,Paris, Valencia, and Milan with clients such as Lacoste, the Guardian, Vogue, NSPCC, Canon and Google. Sheis also active in design education, giving frequent talksand workshops to adults, students, and children. Guestlectures include Brief Design Festival in Madrid, PapierHier in Amsterdam and Nicer Tuesdays in London. In theUK, Hattie is a guest lecturer at the University of the Westof England, where she gained her first class degree inIllustration in 2008.
Exhibitions showcasing Hattie's work include Pick MeUp in Somerset House, London, The Paper Convention inSydney, and The Paper Cut Festival in Amsterdam.
