He grew up supporting Harry Redknapp's Bournemouth in the 80s and was a schoolmate of Harry's son, Jamie. For several seasons, Michael produced and presented the AFC Bournemouth podcast All Departments, a period which coincided with the Cherries' fairy-tale rise from near oblivion to the Premier League.
