Amanda is an experienced science teacher who taught all three subjects of the IGCSE syllabus in Botswana for several years. Her PhD focused on biophysics. She currently works in science education publishing, as an author and editor for UK publishers and for science education commissioners from US, UAE, India and Spain. She is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and has extensive experience of authoring assessment material across all three sciences. Mark is a freelance author and series editor with over 25 years of experience, specialising in science textbooks and educational materials for schools (for the 11–16 age group). His educational writing career started in the classroom, with the desire to offer students better learning materials. He has worked in many markets around the world, most extensively in the UK and Middle East, and spent the last few years working on projects to support IGCSE and International GCSE curricula.
