Herbs that come straight to your kitchen table from your own garden bring unbeatable flavour and freshness to your cooking. This book is a seasonal guide to growing, cooking and using 30 of the most useful and popular culinary herbs, both delicate and robust.
It includes 60 delicious recipes - each of which features one or more of these herbs - for soups, sauces, starters, main courses and puddings.
Discover how to grow herbs in containers, and from cuttings and seeds, and how you can maintain your plants so that they will remain productive. You will also learn how to plan your herb garden, how to store herbs to preserve their flavour, and how to use herbs to flavour oils, vinegars, butters, sugars and jellies.
