Eric Karl Anderson, aka the Lonesome Reader, hails from Maine and has lived in the UK for many years. He started a reading blog to record his thoughts on the books he was reading and he now reviews books for several publishers across his socials, including his popular YouTube channel. As well as having his own novel and short stories published, he's been on the judging panels of numerous literary awards including The British Book Awards (2017) and The Costa Book Awards (2020). RuPaul praised his blog on his podcast 'What's the Tee?' after Eric recommended he read Damon Galgut's novel Arctic Summer.
