Frank Waters (1902–1995), one of the finest chroniclers of the American Southwest, wrote twenty-eight works of fiction and nonfiction. Thomas J. Lyon is the editor and author of several books. Most recently he edited The Literary West: An Anthology of Western American Literature. He lives in Carlsbad, California.
