Squirrel and Bird are very different. One animal likes nuts and the other likes worms! But both of them are happy to try something new. And together they make the very best of friends.  A beautiful tale of unlikely friendship brought to life with stunning illustrations from Sean Julian (Bear Can't Sleep, My Dad!). A Friend Like You is the perfect storybook for encouraging children to enjoy making friends and being brave enough to try new experiences.
Andrea has taken up writing for children after writing poetry for adults for many years. She teaches poetry writing at university and performs her quirky poems on stage. She enjoys acting, films, theatre and crisps. She lives in Germany, in a town close to Hamburg. Sean Julian enjoyed art from an early age, focusing on potato printmaking and creating plasticine dinosaurs. Years later he studied at the Mansfield College of Art, before moving to Bristol to study illustration. Being rather big and hairy himself, he was always happiest illustrating big, hairy creatures such as bears and gorillas. This naturally led to a career in children's books. He now has over twenty years' experience illustrating and writing for children.
