The global bestseller that inspired the hit musical phenomenon.

The third book in Gregory Maguire's Wicked Years series - inspiration for the major movie and record-breaking box office sensation.

**Book 3 in a new collector's edition of the WICKED YEARS quartet, with stunning 'vintage' variant cover artwork**

As civil war looms in Oz, an ancient and tetchy oracle named Yackle prepares for death.

Before she can return to dust, however, the Cowardly Lion arrives seeking information about Elphaba Thropp, who defended him when he was a cub. Elphaba, the woman who became the Wicked Witch of the West.

But Yackle, who once predicted the Witch's greatness, demands some answers of her own.

As the armies of the Emerald City approach, so begins a battle of wits between adversaries. What does the Lion know of the Witch's boy, Liir? And what of the Grimmerie, the magic book that vanished as quickly as Elphaba?

Fall under the WICKED spell this year...

'Another masterpiece!'
