Because of their track records and the fact that their lives and careers have been so immersed in the giving and receiving of advice, both Tony Jeary and Jay Rogers speak from a unique perspective that should give you, the reader, total confidence that what they say has been lived out for decades. This book is not theory; it’s built on the experiences of two top advisors who have both made (and lost) millions, who have both built successful lives, and who have both exponentially benefited from the advice of others. Their lives have played out the powerful truth that “Advice does matter”.
Tony Jeary is coach to many of the world s top CEOs and high achievers. His clients include the Presidents of Wal-Mart, Firestone, Shell, Samsung, New York Life, and the United States Senate. An advisor to many, Tony Jeary has invested his life and career in helping others discover new clarity for their vision, develop focus on direction, and create powerful execution strategies that strategically impact achievement and results. Tony is happily married and blessed with 2 great daughters. Jay has been and continues to be active in the formation of entrepreneurial enterprises and has founded Biz Owners Ed, a non-profit devoted to mentoring them. Jay has personally founded, grown, and sold over a dozen businesses, including: Smart Start, Inc., Physician Staffing Resources, Inc. (PSR), and Rhino Fleet Tracking. In 1993, Jay completed the three-year Owners & Presidents Management (OPM) Program at Harvard. He served as a guest lecturer at SMU’s Caruth Institute of Entrepreneurs.
