Affectivity is essential in language learning and new ways of studying it must be considered. In this volume, the authors bring together two particularly relevant aspects of affectivity that are rarely related: the prosody of speech as the physical manifestation of affectivity, and affectivity involved in the learning process, with a strong component of (inter)culture and identity.
