This collection of unique chemical lab image creations from more than half a century ago offer a fascinating time machine to view the wonderful world of airlines, air travel, and aviation in its early days of post-war advancement. You are about to experience 288 pages of glorious Kodachrome colour, showcasing air travel and aviation during its post-War Golden Age.The author has made it one of his life missions to assemble a growing collection of unique and fascinating Kodachrome images created in the mid of the last century, that were spontaneous photographic captures of every day air travels, at a time when the vast majority of the population were still travelling this great world by ocean liner. The 288 pages that are presented in this volume will offer a look back to an era where people travelled in style to the four corners of the globe by modes of air transport that were very much still in their infancy. What we take for granted today, when we drive to the airport and board our flight, is that it all evolved from the humble and decent travels that were documented by spontaneous Kodachrome slide captures by random people all around the world decades ago.

Henry's interest in aviation dates back to at least 1967 when his grandmother used to take him to the open air observation deck at Vancouver's South Terminal to view Air Canada Viscounts, Vanguards and DC-8s at three years of age. This led to a life-long passion of all things related to commercial aviation. After graduating with a BBA in Aviation Management from the University of North Dakota and an MBA from UC-Irvine in 1989, Henry worked for NWT Air in Yellowknife and has been self-employed with his aviation hobby related businesses since 1999. Numerous articles have been written for aviation publications including Airliners, Propliner, Airways, Aircraft Illustrated and others, and a keen interest in airline video production has resulted in his releasing over 60 classic airliner DVDs.
