Laco was president of UFTS (Football Coaches Union of Slovakia) and a chairman of the technical committee of SFA (Slovakia Football Association). He has co-authored several publications on tactics in soccer. He holds a UEFA EuroPro License. Further authors are Peter Ganczner, Jaroslav Hřebík, and Andi Singer.
