A thoughtful and playful story exploring empathy, kindness and mental health, from global bestselling author Eoin Colfer.

Anna Liza likes to help cheer up her mother’s psychiatric patients with her 17 top knock-knock jokes and cheerful songs, but when she meets Edward, she hits a brick wall. Edward’s dad is so sad since his mum left; he says his life isn’t going anywhere any more. Anna Liza has a plan to get him on the move again, if only she can manage to evade her mother’s attention long enough …

Particularly suitable for readers aged 7+ with a reading age of 7.

Eoin Colfer started writing in primary school with gripping Viking stories inspired by what he was learning in class. In 2001 he published the first book in the Artemis Fowl series, which went on to sell millions of copies across the globe. He says, “I will keep writing until people stop reading or I run out of ideas. Hopefully neither of these will happen anytime soon.” Eoin lives in Ireland with his wife and two children and was the Laureate na nog (Irish Children’s Laureate) from 2014-2016.
