Answers from the Other Side

What happens to us when we die? Does heaven really exist? If so, what does the afterlife look like? Although death happens to everyone eventually, we know little about the process and the only way that we can get answers is to talk to someone who is already there.  Through channelled mediumship communication with a spirit called Battrick, this book attempts to answer some of those questions.  The spirit world wants us to know that the essence of who we are does not die with our physical body.  We are all spiritual beings having an earthly experience and the energy that is ‘us’ cannot be destroyed; this life is not all there is.

Julie Ann Tyso felt a connection with the spirit world from early childhood and knew instinctively that we are more than our physical bodies and that there was a spirit body within.  She was always searching for answers:  what happens when we die?  What does the afterlife look like?  Are we reborn? It took her a while to accept that she could remember past lives and that what she was seeing and hearing was in fact spiritual beings attempting to communicate with her and answer some of her questions. 

Julie spent over 20 years working as an academic in a UK university in an evidence-based environment but learning about the spirit world has been a lifelong passion and just the right teachers, books or experiences seemed to appear, as if by magic, to enhance that learning.  The spirit world clearly had a plan and her life changed when she woke up one morning and felt compelled to sit at a computer and write.  The speed at which the information came, helped to convince her that it was not coming from her subconscious but was being channelled from a spirit called Battrick.  Through a question-and-answer session that took place over several months, Julie’s first book, “Answers from the Other Side”, was born.   

Understanding what happens when we die is only part of the story.  The spirit energy encased within our physical body can be a source of great guidance.  It is there to help us navigate our lives and accomplish what we set out to achieve.  Julie’s second book: ‘Guidance from the Other Side’ is a practical spiritual self-help book that encourages you to identify and strengthen your psychic connection with your soul body so that you can establish a clear vision for yourself and benefit from the help and guidance on offer. 

Since leaving academia, Julie has devoted her time to teaching, healing and writing about the spirit world.  She is a strong advocate that consciousness survives physical death and that this life is not all there is.
