This book provides a theoretical and practical guide to the consultancy cycle, the core framework used by occupational psychologists to deliver evidence-based interventions in organisations.

As organisations face rapid change and workplace challenges, occupational psychologists need to apply a structured approach for their interventions to ensure they add value, maintain good relationships with clients, are ethical in their practice, and use an evidence-based approach. Applying Psychology to Consulting breaks down each stage of the consultancy cycle, offering clear explanations, established theories and frameworks for each stage, real-world case studies, expert voices, and practical tools. Bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world consultancy, the book equips readers with the skills to manage their work confidently and perform to a high standard.

This book will appeal to students of occupational and organisational psychology, and those undertaking a professional doctorate in occupational psychology, as well as early-career occupational psychology practitioners and experienced consultants looking to refresh and build on their knowledge.
