Proof that anyone who can do fifth grade math can master personal finance.
Incorporating the principles of Buddhism, wellness, and yoga, At Peace With Money teaches readers how to align their spending, saving, and earning with their values. Author Carrie Friedberg, SF Money Coach, has developed a holistic process for healing your relationship with money that is truly sustainable and highly practical.
Over the course of fifteen years, Carrie has been studying and practicing financial wellness, starting with her own painful, but necessary, financial recovery journey. Carrie has been testing out the material, tools, exercises, and interventions in thousands of hours of coaching sessions with clients all over the world. She has also given countless public talks to Bay Area tech companies and universities. Carrie produced a popular Personal Finance 101 master class as well.
In At Peace With Money, Carrie guides the readers in a practical and empowering process rooted in spirituality, psychology, and solution-focused techniques. You will learn how to create and edit a values-based budget (spending plan) from scratch. You will calculate savings goals and understand the mechanics, and psychological benefits of developing meaningful reserves. You will practice holistic personal finance routines on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. And you will learn to set yourself up for success with accountability, professional support as needed, and life-long financial literacy.
Follow along as Carrie shares her hilarious, and at times heart-wrenching, circuitous money story as well as colorful anecdotes from clients spanning a wide variety of occupations and stages of life. Her client base includes everyday people, professional athletes, and even adult children of C-suite tech giants. Her simple personal finance curriculum works for anyone who can do elementary math and is honest, open-minded, and willing to do the work.
