Geoffrey Megargee is Applied Research Scholar at the Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies, U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC. He is the author of Inside Hitler's High Command, which won a 2001 Distinguished Book Award from the Society for Military History. He writes and lectures frequently on German military history, the Second World War, and the Holocaust. Megargee holds a doctorate in military history from the Ohio State University and lives in Arlington, Virginia.
