Because of dads, we giggle and smile and dress up and dream. Bad singing and dancing are always better with Dad around! Because of dads, we can be silly and fun and strong and brave, soaring past the bad guys and saving the day. And when life gets us down and times are tough, dads teach us patience, and dads help us up. Because of dads, we know we are loved. Above and beyond - the way only dads can.
K.E. Lewis was raised in Bishopville, South Carolina, where the weather is hot and the accent thick. He loves words, learning new things, and teaching new things. When he's not immersed in his characters, K.E. is looking for great food, visiting somebody's museum, doodling at his arts and craft station, or catching up on the shows he's missed while creating stories. He resides on the border of both Carolinas, making frequent trips to the beaches, and often thinking of his namesake, the person who inspired him to write this book, his father. kelewis.world Maithili Joshi is a South Asian illustrator and designer based in New York City.
